The QC10 ballbar system can be enhanced by including any of a number of accessories. These allow you to extend the scope of your ballbar test or allow the testing of machines other than standard machining centres.
This accessory kit allows the QC10 ballbar to perform 50 mm radius tests (standard minimum is 100 mm), helping to give an enhanced analysis of servo control systems on most types of machines.
The use of this calibrated artefact, made of a patented material that exhibits negligible thermal expansion, allows the QC10 to be calibrated before use and absolute measurements to be taken. For example, you can determine scale error on an axis rather than just scale mismatch between axes.
